Selected editors become part of the editing team, composed of undergraduate students volunteered for the position (not paid). Under the direction of the Journal Coordinator and Editor in Chief, they are responsible for selecting and editing, and may as well partake in creating the layout and design for the journal. Editors are expected to dedicate 3-4 hours a week to their duties and ensure they meet their submission deadlines.
The Editing Process
Depending on the preference of the Journal Coordinator, the editing process may be subject to change from year to year. This year, it will start in the Fall term. The general outline of an editor' responsibilities are as follows:
1. Articles retained for publication will be assignled anonymously to each editor so as to minimize bias during the selection and editing process.
2. Editors must regurlarly check their editor email. With the editors email, editors will use Google drive to access the articles that reqire editing.
3. Editors must also fill out the doodles sent out by the Journal Coordinator in order to help schedule fundraising events.

The editor-in-chief is the head of operations. He/she is responsible for reviewing the final content of the journal, delegating tasks to staff members as well as keeping tabs on the time constraints of the journal.
The layout team is responsible for deciding on a cover design for the journal and ensuring that the articles are formatted before publication. They will also choose the font, how the pages will be laid out, and any additional elements that pertain to the journal’s presentation.
The editorial board is responsible for reviewing the articles placed for submission.
Faculty advisors are senior members of the McGill academic community that maintain a close consultive relationship with the editorial board. They are in place to provide guidance regarding any queries related to their field of specialization.
